Want a copy first? Use Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data before you delete.

Without the app

Use our account deletion page at api.swingsmartergolf.com/account-deletion, or email support@swingsmartergolf.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before we delete anything. Once confirmed, we delete the account as described below.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account and email address.
  • Your golfer profile and consent records.
  • Swing videos, key frames, body landmark (pose) data, analyses and reports.
  • Live Coach sessions, lesson summaries and recorded swing measurements.
  • Coach chat conversations, practice plans and drill completions.
  • Subscription status and usage records held by us, and any data export files.
  • Your customer record at our subscription provider (RevenueCat), where possible.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Deletion log: a one-way hashed account identifier and timestamps (no email, no content), kept for 1 year to show the deletion was completed.
  • Purchase event records received from the App Store: kept up to 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Rate-limiting counters: kept up to 1 day, then deleted automatically.
  • Backups: copies in our database provider’s backups are removed as those backups expire on their normal rolling schedule.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it first: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Purchase history held by Apple is controlled by Apple.

More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
